Author’s note

Hey there!

Where to begin. Always the hardest part. Forgive me if I have a lousy start. But this is how it started: my heart was failing and I was waiting for my death perhaps then, there’ll be some silence from all the noise in my head. What did life bring me but darkness and formlessness in this heart which was now cold?

The God we’ve heard about all too well came and hovered over my dark and formless life and brought light and form to it, replacing my heart of stone with a heart of flesh- a heart that can feel love and give some. And it’s from this heart in which He lives, that Vayolet writes and will write.

I am Vayolet. Not too old nor too young but at the perfect age to own a blog. I may need no parental guidance but I certainly need the Holy Spirit’s guidance! Anyway, it’s not like I have plans of misleading any of you here so chill.

I started this blog from the point of exhaustion and I wondered if there were other people out there like me who were tired too.

I got tired of being a good girl. And that’s because I was that way for all the wrong reasons. And it was work- trying to please everyone I thought I was indebted to and to be in everyone’s good books. You can imagine how hard it’d be to be the best character in everyone’s book. And sadly, in trying to be the best character, I ended up being the worst.

So this brings me back to why Thescrolla? This is a place for tired people, people who are willing to begin a new journey, a worthy one and also for people who just want to rest. This is my haven but I wish it would be yours too.

This is supposed to be an introductory message. I wouldn’t want to give myself off as a talkative on my first encounter with you so I’ll just end here and hope you join me together on this side of the world called Thescrolla.
